Dear Judge,

Welcome to Tech Insight Studio, an initiative to revolutionize educational accessibility through AI-driven tools and structured learning resources. This project was born out of a need to provide high-quality, affordable study materials, particularly for students navigating AP STEM courses.

Over the past several months, Tech Insight Studio has transformed from an initial concept into a fully developed platform integrating AI automation, interactive content, and an evolving library of resources. Through networking, project management, and collaborative teamwork, I have gained significant experience in curating educational materials, leading technological development, and leveraging AI for personalized learning.

One of the primary challenges throughout this project was balancing content quality with efficiency. As our team expanded learning materials, it became evident that scalability was essential for long-term impact. Menti, our AI-powered Learning Companion, was developed to bridge this gap by providing real-time student support and ensuring adaptive and tailored learning experiences. Integrating AI into an educational setting has reinforced the importance of innovation, continuous refinement, and strategic problem-solving.

Looking ahead, Tech Insight Studio aims to expand Menti’s capabilities further, incorporate additional AP STEM subjects, and collaborate with schools and institutions to extend the reach of our educational resources. The potential of AI in education is vast, and this project serves as a testament to how technology can bridge learning gaps and provide students with structured, accessible tools for academic success.

Research Overview

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming education, offering scalable and adaptive learning solutions that cater to individual student needs. This research paper explores how AI-powered learning companions, specifically the Menti project by Tech Insight Studio, can revolutionize education by enhancing accessibility, affordability, and personalization. In this paper, I examine the integration of machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and data analytics into AI-driven education systems.

By analyzing Menti's design, its ability to tailor learning experiences, and its potential to reduce the reliance on traditional tutoring, this study highlights how AI can bridge learning gaps. Additionally, the paper addresses the technical, ethical, and policy challenges surrounding AI in education, including data privacy and algorithmic biases. Ultimately, this research provides insights into how AI can support student-centered learning and create a more inclusive and cost-effective educational ecosystem for the future.

Mentor Verification & Introduction

I am incredibly grateful to my mentor, Stan Xiang an experienced AP Calculus, Statistics, and Physics instructor based in Shanghai. Since our initial connection in November 2022, Stan has played a pivotal role in my academic journey, mentoring me through multiple AP STEM courses and providing invaluable guidance for my physics competition preparations.

Throughout my Senior Exit Project (SEP), I have maintained regular communication and collaboration with Stan, developing numerous educational resources for the AP Calculus community. His mentorship has been instrumental in refining content, structuring instructional materials, and ensuring the highest level of accuracy in our learning tools. Beyond this, Stan has also been a critical technical resource, offering insights into HTML and Python programming that directly contributed to the development of Menti, the AI Learning Companion.

I sincerely appreciate Stan’s ongoing support, both in educational content creation and AI software development, as his guidance has significantly enhanced the impact of this project. His dedication to expanding free learning resources through platforms like Bilibili, Red Note, and the Desmos community continues to inspire my work and fuels the mission of Tech Insight Studio.

Professional & Accomplishment

As I transition to my next incredible journey at Stanford University, the experiences and lessons from this project will continue to shape my technical skills, as well as my mindset and aspirations. Through Tech Insight Studio, I have developed an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset—learning to navigate challenges, embrace innovation, and lead collaborative initiatives. The skills I have refined in AI development, educational technology, and project management will be fundamental as I contribute to future technological advancements.

More than just technical skills, this project has matured my perspective on impact-driven innovation. It has taught me that technology’s most significant power lies in its ability to create meaningful change—not just through efficiency but through accessibility and equity. As an Arizona Cardinals Time Change Agent, my goal extends beyond academic excellence; I aim to leverage technology to create scalable, high-quality learning solutions for underserved communities. My work with Menti, AI automation, and digital education has been a stepping stone toward a broader vision: harnessing AI to democratize knowledge and empower learners worldwide.

Stanford will be the next chapter in this journey, where I will continue pushing the boundaries of AI in education, policy-making, and global outreach. My mission is clear: mindset to be a catalyst for positive change, using my skills and experiences to redefine learning accessibility and inspire innovation.
